A paper entitled “Evolution of the Combat Systems Engineering Sub-Classification” by Ken Bowering Evolution of the CSE provides some excellent background on the development of Combat Systems Engineers. CNTHA is looking forward to inputs from others who joined the ranks of the CSE’s beginning in the latter half of the 1960’s.
